Team psychopath too haha ("just" 13k though). Too bad MJ Alpha doesn't include the fvcking inpainting feature, that alone is enough to keep me glued to Discord for now... Although I'll definitely switch to the official website once they add it.
And yeah, inpainting (Vary Region) will be great to have on the site. Once most of the features mirgate to it, I don't see much reason to hang around Disccord anymore. (Except maybe the Wednesday office hours.)
I am a little in awe that you have over 15K generations - that's crazy! Do you expect to keep using the Discord tools or will you migrate to the browser once that's more robust?
Yeah it's especially crazy if you think that the bulk of those 15K was before the summer. I've been making far fewer images in Midjourney in the last several months.
As for migrating out of Discord, I'll definitely be happy to use the website if it gives me access to all the same tools. Discord doesn't really have any inherent advantages for me, but I know there are others who enjoy the community aspect with all the chat threads, competitions, etc.
Yeah I don’t know if web vs discord makes a huge difference for me. That said, if Midjourney ever gets around to offering an API, that’s going to be a game changer.
Oh yeah, I'm sure that'd be a huge deal, but they've been pretty adamant about not going the API route and are generally quite hush hush when it comes to the underlying model.
Very cool to hear about MJ finally breaking free from Discord. It's such an uninviting concept for non-geeks; this will open a whole new universe of users for them.

Welcome to the psycho club!

(and maybe also: the additional bots, like InsightFaceSwap :))
True. Although that one's a 3rd-party app, so that's up to the Picsi.AI team to implement. Not sure Midjourney can actively do something about it.

No doubt. If they did this well as one of the few paid models AND being on Discord, this could be a major boost!
