Well, there are tools like HeyGen (heygen.com) that offer animated avatars that speak your script, but this might be a bit too professional and serious for what you're going for!
And agreed, text-to-video isn't quite perfect yet, but they're making progress fast. I wouldn't be surprised if we can generate realistic videos during next year.
