5 Best Midjourney Prompts: November 2024 (Digital Symbols)
Modifiers to create virtual symbolic representations.
Wait, has it been a whole month already?
Damn!
But you know what this means: Another monthly Midjourney prompt roundup.
This month’s theme revolves around icons and other digital symbols.
Our showcase subjects today are:
Alien
Crown
Star
Let’s go!
Prompt #1: “[subject], emoji”
Come on, you all know what emojis are.
There was even a critically acclaimed blockbuster movie about them!
Use this modifier in Midjourney, and you’ll likely turn your subject into a cute, personified, smiling avatar of itself, set against a white background.

Prompt #2: “[subject], digital badge”
Want something less simplistic?
Try the “digital badge” modifier. You’ll get a complex, colorful rendering of your subject against a round badge.

Prompt #3: “[subject], SVG”
I know, I know.
“SVG” isn’t a symbol, it’s an image file format.
But because SVGs are widely used for flat, 2D renderings, this modifier will usually result in a simplified, vectorized representation of your subject with a white background, often in black-and-white.

Prompt #4: “[subject], glyph”
Time to get funky!
Today, we usually use “glyph” to refer to typographical marks. But Midjourney usually responds with a more old-school interpretation to give you a creative, symbolic visualization of your subject.

Prompt #5: “[subject], favicon”
Favicons are those tiny pictures you’ll see on the left side of any open tab in your browser. They’re icons that visually represent the website you’re visiting.
There isn’t a single way to create a favicon, so Midjourney can end up exploring different directions with this modifier. Fun!

Over to you…
Remember to test the above modifiers in other AI image models. They often treat the same descriptors differently, so it’s fun to see what kind of images they produce.

I can see that you, too, tell time by the things you write... and not much else. Yikes.
I have SO much to learn with Midjourney and most of the leading image creation tools. And I know this is the place to be for that learning :)
