Goofing Around With AI: 5 Fun Sites to Try
Have fun with these five entertaining AI sites while I'm on partial hiatus.
Friends!
There’s no non-horrific way to put this, so here goes:
I’ve got a kidney stone trying to make its way out of my system. In addition to being a fun conversation starter (clearly), it’s also excruciatingly painful at times.
So, after visits to two hospitals, I’m at home with hardcore painkillers.
On top of that, both of my kids have birthdays this week, so today’s post is just a quick collection of fun AI tools I came across recently.
Enjoy and wish me luck!
1. Clio Sketch
Hey, remember Scribble Diffusion that I covered in the first issue of 10X AI?
Clio Sketch is sort of like that, but it gives you a tiny bit more control.
You start by sketching your rough version:
You can tweak the sketch to your liking, then provide a text description of what you’re going for. Pick a visual preset (cartoon, realistic, etc.) and decide how much influence AI should have over the end result:
Then you click “CREATE” and get your final image:
What I like is the nifty “X-RAY flashlight” that reveals parts of your original sketch under the AI-generated result as you hover it over the image:
It’s a good way to waste a few moments or do something different with your kids.
2. Segmentle
Segmentle is a Sudoku-esque game invented by ChatGPT. The goal is to move numbers around a grid to make the total in each column equal the target number.
Here’s me completely decimating the 3x3 Easy version like an absolute boss:
You can try larger grids and toggle different helpful features on or off. Have fun!
3. Lalamu Studio
Lalamu Studio lets you pick or upload a video with a character, then make that character lip sync to any audio track.
You can upload your own voiceovers or generate them by using several different AI voices and tones:
Then you click “Generate lip sync video” and get an unsettling video like this:
The site is currently in Demo mode, but there are plans for a bunch of cool features The demo alone is plenty fun if you’re just playing around with the lip sync effect.
4. Roasted By AI
This one does what it says on the tin: You pick the personality that you want to insult you, then you get Roasted By AI.
Honestly? You could probably achieve the same effect by simply prompting ChatGPT or Bing Chat to act like this. Still, it’s a fun way to have silly exchanges with AI hell-bent on owning you:
5. BeatBot
This bot’s got beats…or something.
If you’ve ever tried the now-defunct Drayk.it, BeatBot is pretty much the same thing but without Drake. Simply describe the song you want, and you’ll get a short verse where both the lyrics and the music are composed by AI.
Check out this epic banger called “Dealing with a kidney stone while trying to work”
Yeah! Preach, AI brother.
Over to you…
Have you tried any entertaining AI sites yourself lately? Care to share?
What are your opinions on kidney stones? Probably best not to share!
If you want to tell me anything at all, leave a comment on the site or shoot me an email (reply to this one).
Ai can help you with that, moron! just prompt 'I'm a moronic slave of the stealing tech capitalism, so my suffering doesn't count'
