Never mind Greg. Let's talk about those cats in boxes. Are they all alive, and does the answer to this affect how long they spend in the boxes? Asking for a friend named Erwin.
Also: I'm getting closer to having the ability to sort my own data meaningfully for the first time, and charts like this could be a really good way to study it. I'm not in a huge hurry, but I definitely want to do this some time in the near-ish future.
Schrödinger's Scattergram was a type of chart briefly considered, but nobody could figure out whether it was showing accurate data or NOT showing data. So it's been left in limbo ever since.
Yeah I think, depending on how sensitive your data is, you can get a lot out of the data analysis features in ChatGPT. It will typically suggest the type of analysis to perform and the charts to apply on its own based on your data.
I'll get there! You've helped me build a good framework of understanding over the last year or so, or whenever these things first started creeping out as a possibility. Thanks!
...uncharted territory 🤣
It's funny cuz it's true.

You are basically describing my job from 2001-2018 as a computational genetics programmer!.
Does it involve a lot of coffee and guys named Greg?
LOTS of coffee. Guys named Greg? I must be dense this morning.
Greg features heavily in chart explainers in this post ;)
How did I miss that? I guess it was commentary, and I skipped over it in a quick scan.
The less you know about Greg, the better. Trust me!
Hahahaha!!!
Ahh, ok, I didn't pay that much attention to the details since I have done so much of it in practice.
This is an absolutely useful issue, thanks for sharing it!
Happy you found it useful, Riccardo!
