AI voices section is so important, rising tide lifts all the boats and all that. Also I've just switched to Arc browser but Google tempts me back 🤌

Thanks for the feedback on "AI voices" - it does look like the consensus is generally positive about it.

I'm actually on the waitlist for the Windows version of the Arc browser, so I haven't had the chance to check it out yet. How does it compare to Google in your experience?

Just FYI, I'm using Chrome right now, and the drop-down from the upper left doesn't offer the option to organize the tabs yet.

I like the AI voices section, and I think it has legs! Sure, I know and like all of the folks you included, but I also think it adds a touch of spice to the newsletter.

Did you go to "Settings" => "Experimental AI" and toggle the experimental features on?

I can't verify this since I'm not in the US, but it should look like this: https://i.imgur.com/U3Y1iHQ.png

And good to hear: I do like the idea of getting the broader community involved, and judging by the massive 4 votes the poll got - the "AI voices" are well-received so far.

Fascinating: I don't have "experimental AI" as an option, but I am certain that I've opted into Google's suite of experimental products (I've had AI inside of Drive for at least a few months now, and whenever I search via Chrome I get the little AI option to answer). I can't say for certain that I'm opted into the Chrome version of this.

Yeah I'm also opted into SGE, so I get the "AI summary" for Google results. This seems separate and has to be activated directly in Chrome, but it doesn't show up for me (even with VPN on). Sucks to be outside of the US while trying to be the AI info person - for instance, I still can't use Claude, because they require a US number to get verified, so VPN won't cut it.

I'm not super duper eager to fix tabs or experiment, FWIW - just wanted to let you know what I see at my end. These do seem like some pretty sensible innovations, though.
