I voted for Code Interpreter, but that's mainly because I feel its impact immediately, and I know it'll improve rapidly. I just made a really awful GIF, but... I made a GIF!

Think that'd be my vote as well, with image recognition a close second. We're truly spoiled for choice these days!

I'm a Gen Xer, so I remember the "before times" for the Internet. Kids born after around 1990 simply grew up with the Internet, and kids born after 2010 or so grew up in a world with smartphones and everything that entails.

Kids born after 2020 will grow up in a world dominated by generative AI. They won't remember the "before times." What sorts of conclusions will they draw? How will they view the world?

I think that's pretty much the cycle of generations. One day, these "Generative AI" kids will be saying "Man, kids born in the 2040s will have grown up entirely inside Virtual Reality. They won't know the 'before times' of living in the physical world like we did."

I hope to live through these paradigms! Hang in there; we may be beneficiaries from the medical advancements coming down the pipe at present, and we really might be able to see them unfold.

With nothing left of my physical form, I look forward to listening in to these jokes. Of course, without physical inputs like ears, people will debate whether or not I'm actually conscious. Some conversations just keep happening, no matter what!
