I’m back from my summer vacation to bring you a belated batch of Midjourney modifiers. This time, I’m focusing on descriptors related to toys and games.

Today’s showcase subjects are:

  • Butterfly

  • Transformer

  • Villager

In this ongoing series, I share simple, standalone modifiers you can apply to your prompts. Use them with any scene or subject that you describe in greater detail.

Prompt #1: “LEGO, [subject]”

Ever wanted to turn stuff into LEGO? Now you can!

Using “LEGO” along with your subject will—shockingly—imagine it as a LEGO set or a standalone LEGO figure. Upon closer inspection, you’ll likely find many oddities and inconsistencies, but at first glance, the results sure look a lot like LEGO.

Prompt #2: “2D platformer, [subject]”

If you’ve played computer games, chances are good you’re familiar with side-scrolling 2D platformers. Midjourney’s been trained on enough in-game screenshots to faithfully render your subject as a hero of its own 2D arcade game.
